The application, named FirstDate, is presently available exclusively to civil servants aged 21‑35. Leveraging the Nobel‑recognised Gale‑Shapley algorithm—a technique celebrated for its fair allocation of matches—it pairs participants individually on a cyclical basis. Users receive a single compatible partner per iteration, whereas mainstream platforms such as Tinder or Hinge present endless options and feature a “compatibility score” derived from the same underlying methodology.
