Chinese competitor Lian Yunzhi, aged six, has twice broken the women’s world record for solving a 3×3 Rubik’s Cube within a three‑day span. She first set an average solve time of 4.52 seconds at a competition in Wuhan, then improved it to 4.27 seconds at an event in Guangzhou. Video footage from Wuhan captured her completing a single solve in roughly 3.54 seconds, highlighting her rapid finger movements. Lian began solving cubes at age four and has since mastered more than 1,300 formulas, establishing herself as a rising star in speed‑cubing.
