The 27-year-old emerged unscathed from the collision, which occurred on Millhouse Woods Lane in Cottingham on Friday morning. His grey Land Rover Defender was later pictured overturned with broken windows.
Humberside Police confirmed emergency services remain at the scene as investigations continue, and have urged the public to avoid the area.
