Soybeans rose by 7.5 to 11 cents on Wednesday’s close. The national average cash price for soybeans, as reported by cmdtyView, increased by 8.75 cents to $11.55 per bushel. Soybean meal futures gained between $1.50 and $3.70, while soybean oil futures rose 16 to 52 points.
Export sales figures are scheduled for release on Thursday morning. According to Reuters surveys, analysts anticipate soybean export sales of 100,000 to 500,000 metric tons for the 2025/26 marketing year during the week ending July 9. New‑crop export volumes are projected at 0.9 – 1.7 million metric tons. Soybean meal sales are expected to range from 150,000 to 650,000 metric tons, while soybean oil bookings are estimated between 10,000 metric tons of cancellations and 16,000 metric tons of net sales.
The next seven days are expected to remain dry across most of the Western Corn Belt, according to NOAA’s seven‑day quantitative precipitation forecast, with only trace amounts recorded in parts of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and the Dakotas. In contrast, the Eastern Corn Belt will see slightly more moisture, with 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain forecast for portions of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
Morning NOPA data released exceeded market expectations, reporting a crush of 214.34 million bushels in June, surpassing the average trade estimate of 203.99 million bushels. This represents a 15.69% increase year‑over‑year and a 2.66% rise over May. Bean oil stocks were recorded at 1.5 billion pounds, below the consensus forecast of 1.653 billion pounds, reflecting a 13.51% decline from month‑end May but an 8.42% increase from the same period last year.
August 26 soybean futures closed at $12.01, up 8.25 cents.
Nearby cash price reached $11.55 per bushel, rising 8.75 cents.
September 26 soybean futures closed at $11.9175, up 10.5 cents.
November 26 soybean futures settled at $12.0175, up 10.75 cents.
New‑crop cash price was $11.375, up 11.25 cents.
