Reports indicate that Tottenham Hotspur are making a surprise bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
As the transfer window prepares to shut, the north London club has identified Sanchez as a key target to bolster their squad.
Sanchez Provides Valuable Depth for Spurs
The Spanish shot-stopper has been made available by Chelsea following their acquisition of Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. While a transfer to Tottenham presents an intriguing prospect for the goalkeeper, securing a starting spot at the club appears unlikely. It is uncertain whether he would be willing to accept a reserve role.
At present, Antonin Kinsky holds the primary spot between the posts for Tottenham, with Martin Dubravka also competing for minutes.

Sanchez Must Depart Chelsea
The goalkeeper will likely desire a move to a club that offers consistent playing time. The situation is still developing, while Tottenham have been exceptionally busy in the market, securing numerous high-caliber players. Whether they can secure another top-tier addition before the deadline remains to be seen.
Having previously demonstrated his caliber in the Premier League with both Chelsea and Brighton, the Spaniard could represent a shrewd addition for Spurs.
With Martinez firmly established at Stamford Bridge, the 28-year-old is unlikely to feature regularly this season. Consequently, he is eager to sort out his future swiftly. At the pinnacle of his abilities, he seeks a club where he can secure a starting berth week in and week out.
