“Good morning. I’m Steph Castle with your weather report,” the rookie opens the segment.
The forecast kicks off in San Antonio, where Castle predicts prime basketball conditions. “Temperatures are rising down in San Antonio. Perfect for ball,” he declares. The report continues to Los Angeles, labeled a “beautiful day for ball,” and Chicago, where hot, humid conditions are deemed “pretty ideal” for the sport.
In Miami, Castle tosses the broadcast to Heat center Bam Adebayo. “I’m coming to you from a very windy day in Miami, where it’s been raining threes all day,” Adebayo quips before returning control to Castle. The lighthearted spot showcases Castle’s growing off-court presence as the Spurs guard gains national visibility.
