The S&P 500 (SPX) has seemingly finished a short‑term bearish phase that countered the rally seen in late March 2026. The prevailing trend now favors further gains. Key short‑term targets and trading approaches are outlined below.
On March 30, 2026, the SPX closed its intermediate wave (2) and has been on an upward trajectory ever since, attracting new buying interest. The broader bullish wave ((3)) commenced in April 2025 and concluded in February 2026, with the February peak identified as wave (1) of ((3)). A subsequent wave (2) pullback finished a seven‑swing structure within the 6508‑6298 “blue box” zone in late March 2026. Members who entered long positions during this blue box reached all major targets. This editorial is for educational purposes only.
SPX Elliott Wave Analysis – Short‑Term, 13 June Update
Since the March 2026 low, a new bullish cycle began for wave 1 of (3), peaking in early June. A pullback for wave 2 followed. Although typical corrections often complete 3, 7, or 11 swings, this pullback was shallow. Proprietary signals identified the wave’s end, allowing members to enter long positions within the blue box—an approach that proved profitable, as demonstrated in our Dow 100 ($YM_F) strategy.
The 60‑minute chart confirms the conclusion of wave 2, signalling a bullish reversal. We projected a five‑wave rally from the 7,239 pivot to complete wave (i) of ((i)) of 3. The market has since delivered the anticipated upside burst, as illustrated in the chart shared with members.
SPX Elliott Wave Analysis – Short‑Term, 16 June Update
The latest data shows price advancing within wave (iii) of ((i)), potentially setting a new high for wave (i). A pullback for wave (ii) is expected before the larger bullish trend resumes. Target for wave 3 is a minimum of 8,540, with an ideal range of 8,846–9,344. Upon reaching a new high in June, we will identify 3, 7, or 11‑swing pullbacks to pinpoint long opportunities in the SPX, other U.S. indices, the Nikkei, and additional markets we monitor. Updated blue‑box entry zones will be provided at the appropriate time.
