Music legend Stevie Wonder is commemorating the 50th anniversary of his iconic 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life with a special concert series. The tour will feature Wonder performing the entire album live at each show, beginning in October across the United Kingdom and wrapping up at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome on December 19. Upon its release, Songs in the Key of Life earned Wonder his third Grammy for Album of the Year and remains one of his most celebrated works. The LP includes timeless tracks such as “I Wish,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “As,” and “Sir Duke.” Featuring contributions from artists like Herbie Hancock, George Benson, and Minnie Riperton, Wonder handled production, writing, and arrangement of nearly all tracks, performing the majority of instruments himself. The album’s cultural significance has been recognized with its inclusion in the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress.
This upcoming tour marks Wonder’s first official concert series since his Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart tour in fall 2024. In the interim, he has made select appearances, including tributes to Quincy Jones during the 2025 Grammy Awards and Sly Stone at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
