Australian batter Harris delivered a stunning performance to dismantle Surrey’s run chase after seventh-placed Warwickshire posted 180-5 at the Oval.

Skipper Bryony Smith ignited the hosts’ innings with the fastest half-century of the season, reaching 50 from just 23 balls in the eighth over.

Harris immediately shattered the momentum, equaling the all-time Women’s T20 record with six fours and four sixes in her 50 from 15 deliveries.

Smith’s 54-run innings, combined with Harris’s explosive partnership of 78 runs in 29 balls, left Surrey needing 56 runs from 11 overs.

Despite Harris’s eventual dismissal for 81 from 32 balls—caught by Millie Taylor off Charis Pavely—Surrey fell just seven runs short of victory.

Jemima Spence’s 20 was dismantled by Amu Surenkumar’s diving catch, while Alice Monaghan clinched the win in the 15th over to secure a bonus point.

While Smith captained a valiant chase, Harris’s record-breaking 50 and overall dominance earned her the match’s accolades.
