In a stunning rescue operation in La Guaira, Venezuela, a 21-year-old man was recovered alive from the ruins of a collapsed apartment building. Aaron Levi Cantillo was extracted 106 hours after twin earthquakes devastated the region.
The successful operation was a collaborative effort involving rescue teams from Venezuela, Mexico, and El Salvador. Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele described the survivor’s rescue as a “miracle.”
