PepsiCo and Taco Bell have extended their longtime beverage partnership for an additional 11 years, ensuring Pepsi products, including the beloved Mountain Dew Baja Blast, will remain available at participating U.S. locations through 2036.
The agreement encompasses Taco Bell, Taco Bell Cantina, and Live Más Café restaurants nationwide, as announced by PepsiCo on Thursday.
By renewing their decades-long collaboration, the companies have secured the continued presence of one of their most recognizable and successful co-branded offerings on menus across the country.

Created through the Taco Bell-PepsiCo partnership, Mountain Dew Baja Blast — now a billion-dollar brand — will continue to be served alongside other popular Pepsi offerings including Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Mountain Dew, Starry, and Baja Midnight.
“Some of PepsiCo’s best foodservice innovations have emerged from partnerships that push us to reimagine possibilities, and Taco Bell has consistently delivered that energy,” said Anne Fink, President of PepsiCo Global Away from Home, in a statement.

“Together, we’ve developed products that consumers genuinely love — from the iconic Mountain Dew Baja Blast to Doritos Locos Tacos,” Fink added. “This partnership thrives because of how we combine Taco Bell’s cultural pulse with PepsiCo’s deep consumer insights, culinary creativity, and beverage expertise to innovate for the future. We’re enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead over the next 11 years.”
The collaboration has also produced one of Taco Bell’s most iconic menu items: the Doritos Locos Tacos. As the product prepares to mark its 15th anniversary in 2027, PepsiCo confirmed that additional flavors are already in development.

Taco Bell President Meg Farren also expressed enthusiasm for the renewed partnership.
“PepsiCo has been a trusted collaborator for more than two decades, and we’re eager to continue working closely to fuel long-term growth for the Taco Bell brand,” Farren said.
The extension follows news that another major Yum! Brands chain, KFC, plans to switch from Pepsi to Coca-Cola at its U.S. locations, ending a nearly 40-year relationship. The chicken chain expects to start transitioning to Coca-Cola products in January 2027, with new beverages rolling out across its approximately 3,700 U.S. restaurants by spring.
