The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) has unveiled further titles for its 30th edition, taking place Nov. 6–22, including its Baltic Film Competition.
According to Edvinas Pukšta, curator of the Baltic Film Competition, this year’s selection highlights international collaboration. Five of the films are directed by filmmakers from outside the Baltic region, while Baltic talent and expertise play significant roles in their production.
“This year’s selection demonstrates the strength of Baltic co‑productions and the growing contribution of our filmmakers to international cinema,” says Pukšta. “Baltic producers, actors, cinematographers and other film professionals are taking their experience beyond the region and becoming increasingly involved in ambitious international projects.”
