The Jerusalem Post Group will host its inaugural Asia-Pacific Summit in Sydney, Australia—a strategic hub for regional collaboration across the Asia-Pacific. The event will convene senior executives, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators from Australia, Israel, and neighboring countries to explore opportunities in economic, strategic, and community-building initiatives between Australia and Israel.
“While Australia is geographically distant, this summit focuses on fostering forward-looking partnerships,” said Jerusalem Post CEO Inbar Ashkenazi. “As a leading Israeli media entity, we aim to create a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and opportunities that bridge our regions.”
Australia’s market presents significant potential for Israeli enterprises, driven by its $2 trillion GDP, innovation-driven sectors such as healthcare, cybersecurity, and greentech, and a robust investment landscape. Recent bilateral trade reached $1 billion, with Israeli firms like Check Point, CyberArk, and Teva already establishing a foothold in the Australian market.
The event will also highlight cross-border investment opportunities, including Israeli listings on the Australian Securities Exchange and potential collaborations between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and ASX.
Australia’s Jewish community, numbering around 120,000 with major concentrations in Sydney and Melbourne, plays a vital role in supporting Israel, Jewish education, and cultural resilience. The summit seeks to integrate business networking with community leadership and advocacy.
The program will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, sector-specific sessions, and networking opportunities, addressing topics such as medical innovation, real estate technology, climate resilience, and the future of Jewish identity and Zionism.
“This summit builds on The Jerusalem Post Group’s global conference legacy, from London to Dubai to Washington, D.C.,” Ashkenazi added. “Sydney marks an exciting milestone to deepen Australia-Israel ties and foster meaningful dialogue.”
