NEW BALOCHISTAN: Authorities recovered three bodies from Pasni and Kech districts on Saturday, with preliminary investigations indicating they were victims of targeted violence, according to local police reports.
Two bodies were discovered near Chabbandan Cross on the Makran Coastal Highway in Gwadar district’s Pasni area. The deceased, identified as Ustad Muhammad Siraj Kalanchi and Sirdal, were shot multiple times by unidentified assailants. A third body was found in Kech district’s Dasht Khadan area. The victim was named Attaullah, though preliminary accounts offer no further details at this stage.
Investigations into the killings remain ongoing, with authorities collecting evidence from both crime scenes. Meanwhile, Jamaat-i-Islami MPA Maulana Hidayatur Rehman alleged that his cousin’s son, Siraj – son of Hasil and a Pasni resident – had been abducted weeks prior to his death. Rehman maintained the murder constituted a “deliberate communication” aimed at silencing his relative’s political activism, though police have not yet classified the killings as politically motivated.
