BANNU: Three separate kidnapping incidents were reported across different areas of Miryan tehsil in Bannu on Thursday, heightening fear and panic among residents.
Police have begun investigations to locate and recover the abducted individuals.
According to police, armed men abducted Gul Najeeb Khan—son of Mir Dadullah Jan and a resident of Zonda Ghaibi—within the jurisdiction of Miryan police station. The kidnappers are believed to have taken him to an undisclosed location. His family has expressed deep concern and urged authorities to secure his immediate release.
The second incident occurred in Manday Chowk, where armed men abducted 19‑year‑old Hussain, son of Damsaz Khan of Mambati Barakzai. The motive behind this kidnapping remains unclear, and police are pursuing all investigative avenues.
In Noorar, also within Miryan police station limits, armed men reportedly took Fayaz, son of Shah Baraz, a resident of Noorar, to an unknown location. The circumstances of this abduction are still under investigation.
Police officials confirmed that investigations into all three cases are ongoing, and they are conducting search operations and intelligence‑driven efforts to ensure the safe recovery of the kidnapped individuals.
