Marash Kumbulla, the AS Roma defender, is attracting interest from several Spanish clubs ahead of the 2026‑27 season, with Levante, Rayo Vallecano and Elche all reportedly keen to secure his services.
Over the past two seasons, Kumbulla has played in La Liga, featuring for Espanyol before moving to RCD Mallorca.
Although his time at Mallorca was largely underwhelming, his reputation remains strong among Spain’s top‑flight clubs.
According to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, as clubs look to bolster their defensive options this summer:
‘Rayo Vallecano, Levante and Elche have all enquired about the availability of Marash Kumbulla,’ the report states.
Roma’s management is said to be open to letting Kumbulla leave in the coming weeks. Despite joining the club in 2021 with high expectations, the 26‑year‑old is not part of their long‑term plans at the Stadio Olimpico.
