NEW YORK — Tibetan activists gathered outside the U.N. headquarters on Thursday, a week after activist Lobsang Palden’s fatal self-immolation. Demonstrators demanded accountability from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, holding signs calling for an end to silence on Tibet-related issues.
