According to Tim Bradley, Bill Haney has maintained Devin Haney’s negotiating leverage amid ongoing reports of a direct multi-fight deal with DAZN.

Bradley contends that Bill Haney merits recognition for securing his son’s strong bargaining stance as speculation regarding a direct multi-fight arrangement with DAZN persists. He bestowed the moniker “Hood Houdini” upon Bill Haney, praising his ability to maneuver Devin into what Bradley views as an advantageous business position.

“I’m gonna call you Hood Houdini,” Bradley said on his channel. “Everybody thought that Haney was trapped in the corner. Hood Houdini. You wiggled your way out, man. You found an exit.”

Bradley argued that the arrangement grants Haney enhanced control over sponsorships, gate receipts, site fees, and pay-per-view revenue. He also asserted that a direct pact with DAZN would allow Haney to target the most significant fights without being bound to a single promotional entity.

“This is an opportunity for him to bet on himself,” Bradley said.

Bradley drew a comparison between Haney’s situation and that of Shakur Stevenson. While acknowledging Stevenson’s reported Zuffa contract includes a sizable purse, Bradley maintained that Haney’s framework affords him a superior long-term business outlook.

“I got to agree with you guys,” Bradley said after polling his audience. “Haney has more value than Shakur Stevenson.”

Bradley credited Bill Haney for guiding Devin’s career without aligning long-term with a single promotional company, a strategy he believes has safeguarded Haney’s leverage throughout ongoing negotiations.

“The truth always comes to the light,” Bradley said. “We’ll see what happens.”

Bradley insisted Bill Haney warrants praise should the reported agreement materialize, a sentiment encapsulated by the “Hood Houdini” nickname.

“Hood Houdini,” Bradley said. “You wiggled your way out, man. You found an exit.”
