Tennessee Titans tight end Gunnar Helm, selected in the fourth round of the 2025 draft, appeared in all 16 games with 10 starts during his rookie campaign. He established a franchise record for receiving yards by a rookie tight end with 357, ranking fourth on the team, while recording 44 receptions and two touchdowns.
Helm maintained consistency with at least one reception in every game, though he remains driven to improve further.
“There’s always something to go out there and do,” Helm said via Jim Wyatt of the team website. “Always something to prove and there’s somebody always coming for your spot.”
The 2025 season brings significant changes, including new head coach Robert Saleh, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, and a revamped tight end room featuring veterans Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson alongside Helm, David Martin-Robinson, and Jaren Kanak.
Helm is particularly enthusiastic about Daboll’s offensive system, which emphasizes versatile tight end usage.
“It’s been great,” Helm noted. “Daboll isn’t afraid to utilize tight ends in ways that blur traditional roles—similar to Rob Gronkowski in New England, Dalton Kinkaid in Buffalo, or Dawson Knox. Being integrated into those types of schemes is exactly what excites me.”
