Toro y Moi Unveils Self‑Produced Album “Un Wea” Following Acoustic Single “Proof”
In October, Toro y Moi premiered the single “Proof,” initially billed as a one‑off piano‑driven track. The song was later revealed to be part of a new self‑produced album titled Un Wea. Information about the seven‑track LP is limited; it quietly appeared on Chaz Bear’s Bandcamp page in recent days, and Pitchfork has confirmed a release date of November 20. The track is available for listening below.
Earlier this year, Toro y Moi released an acoustic version of his 2025 album Hole Erth and opened for Haruomi Hosono during the latter’s U.S. tour dates.
