Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced negotiations with Manchester City over a potential double deal for forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to sources close to the discussions.
Talks between the two Premier League clubs are understood to be progressing positively, though a final agreement on valuation and structure has yet to be reached.
Spurs have maintained a long-standing interest in Brazilian winger Savinho, having tracked the 22-year-old prior to his £30 million move to the Etihad Stadium from Troyes in 2024. Despite high expectations, he was restricted to just seven Premier League starts during his debut campaign and is now open to departing in search of regular first-team football.
Marmoush, who arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million in January 2025, also finds his future uncertain. The 27-year-old Egypt international fell down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola during the latter stages of last season but still posted a respectable return of eight goals in 36 appearances across all competitions.
While City’s asking price for the pair remains undisclosed, the club is expected to command a significant profit on their initial outlays for both players.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have already undertaken significant midfield reconstruction this summer, yet the Australian has been vocal about the necessity to bolster his attacking options. Spurs mustered only 48 goals in 38 league matches last term—a tally that contributed to a disappointing finish—and the manager views added firepower as essential.
The North London club also retain an interest in Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, though it remains unclear whether the budget exists to sanction a move for the Netherlands international alongside the City duo.
Manchester City have been active in the transfer market themselves, offloading several squad members to balance the books and refresh the squad ahead of the new campaign.
Tottenham begin their Premier League season with a trip to Brentford on Saturday (17:30 BST), while City host Bournemouth on Sunday (14:00 BST).
