Galatasaray’s longstanding interest in Omar Marmoush is gaining momentum this summer transfer window.

The Turkish club has identified a loan arrangement with an option to buy as its preferred approach, and is preparing a generous salary offer for the Egyptian forward. His agent is expected to open negotiations next week.

Marmoush currently earns approximately €10 million per year at his present club.

Tottenham’s Interest in Omar Marmoush

Sources told CaughtOffside that Tottenham Hotspur have also expressed strong interest. North London head coach Roberto De Zerbi is eager to sign Marmoush and is said to be readying an official bid in the coming days.

Manchester City are asking for around €60 million, while several Bundesliga clubs are monitoring the situation. Juventus view Marmoush as an attacking option, with Luciano Spalletti impressed by his performances at Eintracht Frankfurt. The Serie A side could intervene later in the window should a suitable opportunity appear.

Aston Villa have also shown interest, although the contest appears to be primarily among Tottenham, Barcelona, and Juventus.

Marmoush needs a move

Marmoush’s exit this summer seems increasingly probable, whether on loan or as a permanent transfer. Manchester City’s steep valuation will shape the negotiation tempo, while Galatasaray’s loan‑with‑option proposal is hampered by the player’s high wage demands.

The Egyptian has been a squad player for Manchester City since his arrival, and he is seeking more regular playing time at this stage of his career. A move to Tottenham would suit him well; the club requires a dynamic attacker, and he could contribute goals and creativity in the final third. Consistent football at the London side could help him reach his full potential.

Marmoush has recorded 16 goals and six assists in 61 appearances for Manchester City to date.
