Toyota has clinched the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series manufacturer championship with three races remaining on the schedule, marking the organization’s fourth title in the premier division following previous victories in 2016, 2017, and 2019. The manufacturer fields nine full-time entries across Joe Gibbs Racing, 23XI Racing, and Legacy Motor Club.
“Our team members at TRD, along with our partners at 23XI Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Legacy Motor Club, have delivered at the highest level all season,” said Tyler Gibbs, president of TRD U.S.A. “This is a very important title for Toyota and TRD because it represents the teamwork, effort and passion of countless people across our organization and throughout our teams. We couldn’t be more pleased to have that work pay off with our fourth manufacturers’ title.”

Toyota drivers have captured 18 of the 33 Cup races contested this season. Tyler Reddick leads the charge with six victories, opening the campaign with a record-tying three consecutive wins that included the Daytona 500. Denny Hamlin has added four wins, Chase Briscoe three, Ty Gibbs two, and Christopher Bell earned a triumph in the Southern 500 at Darlington. The manufacturer also claimed the inaugural San Diego Street Course event and the Brickyard 400 with part-time driver Corey Heim, who scored his first career Cup victory alongside Gibbs.
Six Toyota pilots qualified for the playoffs, with four remaining in championship contention. The organization has not captured a driver’s title since Kyle Busch’s 2019 crown. Chevrolet dominated the manufacturer standings from 2021 through 2025 and holds the all-time record with 44 Cup manufacturer championships. Ford has collected 17, while Toyota’s fourth crown breaks a tie with Hudson for third place on the all-time list.
