Following our recent analysis of Lamar Jackson’s fantasy outlook, we shift our focus to a player who has mirrored that same level of dominance at the tight end position: Trey McBride.
McBride entered the league from Colorado State, a smaller collegiate program, and was selected 55th overall by the Arizona Cardinals. While his rookie campaign was modest, averaging just 3.8 PPG in PPR formats, he saw a significant breakthrough in 2023, elevating his production to 10.7 PPG.
His trajectory shifted toward elite status the following year, where he averaged 15.6 PPG, followed by a career-best 18.6 PPG in 2025. Now 26 years old, McBride has demonstrated consistent year-over-year improvement.
While his individual talent is no longer in question, the primary variable for his 2026 outlook remains the evolving offensive situation surrounding him in Arizona.
