US President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday in New York, where both leaders are attending the United Nations General Assembly, the White House said.
The meeting is set for 5:35pm, or 2135 GMT, according to Trump’s schedule released Sunday evening.
Macron is expected to travel to New York from Saint Pierre and Miquelon, a small French territory off Canada’s Atlantic coast, where he recently met Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The French president also plans to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the UN gathering.
