On Friday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman conducted a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, addressing regional affairs such as the ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and relayed by Anadolu.
According to the SPA, the discussion encompassed the cooperative relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, exploring avenues to strengthen ties across multiple sectors.
Both leaders exchanged perspectives on a range of regional and international matters, the agency noted.
The dialogue also assessed recent regional developments, with particular attention to the talks between the U.S. and Iran.
They underscored the critical need to safeguard maritime navigation and trade routes, affirming support for measures that promote security and stability throughout the region.
