Trump Accuses Media Reporter of Lacking Professionalism During White House Press Conference

President Donald Trump engaged in aggressive behavior during a recent Oval Office press event, growing increasingly confrontational ahead of midterm elections as he solidified his opposition to press autonomy.

“Quiet, QUIET!” Trump barked at a reporter, then continued, “What’s wrong with you? Are you experiencing something unusual? I genuinely believe there is something off about you.”

Another moment occurred where he issue a stern warning to attendees of the press contingent. “Stay back! You better be cautious,” he declared while raising a finger toward the targeted reporter.

This escalation is not new; friction regularly erupts between White House leadership and journalists who challenge presidential statements. Earlier this year, he publicly criticized CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins following interactions at the UN General Assembly. His effort to exclude CNN, Politico, and MSNBC from the White House press pool was nullified by a federal judge.

Simultaneously, the former president has turned his vitriol toward more conservative platforms. On Truth Social Monday, he denounced Fox Network for alleged偏向性 coverage, claiming the channel places disproportionate emphasis on Democratic figures relative to Republicans—“defending Democrats while promoting their perspective against their political opposite.” This position garnered significant attention when his push to restrict those networks from the press pool was rejected by a court.

Additionally, recent episodes demonstrated further tension. Out of the residence, he confronted a Daily Wire correspondent while fielding questions. Upon being interviewed about French President Emmanuel Macron concerning unrest in France, Mr. Trump dismissed the narrative and interrogated the journalist’s affiliation. “That’s misinformation..” he answered, before remarking, “The Daily Wire is good.”
