President Donald Trump expressed fury after failing to win the Nobel Peace Prize, denouncing the award as an “indelible stain” on Norway and criticizing the laureate.
At a rally in Syracuse, New York, on Friday evening, he dismissed this year’s recipient, former UN human rights chief Navanethem “Navi” Pillay, calling her a “mystery person” he had never heard of, and declared, “We will not forget, Norway, that you didn’t give this prize.”
