President Donald Trump hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping for a walkthrough of recent White House upgrades on Thursday, highlighting the newly installed helipad.
The tour included roughly 10 minutes focused on the granite-topped helipad, a project the president launched in June to solve a persistent issue: the latest Marine One helicopters risk scorching the South Lawn with their rotor wash.
