A Russian drone hit the Turkish dry cargo vessel Victress, which was sailing under a Panamanian flag, the Ukrainian navy said in a Telegram post on Monday, igniting a major fire aboard.
Nine crew members—nationals of Egypt, Turkey and India—were among the casualties, the navy said, noting that all were rescued. The statement did not provide details on the number or nature of the casualties.
This is a developing story.
