The President of Panama has officially declared a major disaster zone after two powerful earthquakes and dozens of aftershocks ravaged the country’s southern region. The magnitude 7.5 and 6.6 quakes struck Herrera province on Friday, damaging buildings and severing power supplies across the affected area.
