Two young men were killed on Friday when an Israeli drone strike hit a motorcycle in the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, according to reporting by Anadolu.
The target was located near the Engineers’ Syndicate building in the city during the afternoon hours, as confirmed by Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The attack occurs amid sustained Israeli military operations across villages and towns in southern Lebanon, despite a U.S.-mediated agreement outlining a staged Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.
Lebanese authorities report that since March 2, 2026, Israeli strikes have resulted in over 4,000 deaths and more than 12,000 injuries, displacing over 1 million residents from their homes.
Israel maintains control over areas in southern Lebanon, including territories occupied for decades and additional zones captured during the 2023-2024 conflict, expanding its territorial reach further during the ongoing military campaign.
