U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov today inaugurated the Trilateral Technical Planning Groups, established to advance the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), a multimodal transit corridor. The new forum brings together policymakers and technical experts from the three countries to collaborate on long‑term stability, economic vitality, regional connectivity, and commercial prosperity, building on the historic Peace Summit Declaration of August 8, 2025, brokered by President Trump.
In a demonstration of shared resolve to turn vision into concrete action, the parties launched the first two planning groups, dedicated to transportation and electricity transmission. These specialized groups are a critical step toward resolving complex technical challenges and progressing to subsequent implementation phases, including integration with other regional infrastructures.
All sides reaffirmed their commitment to swiftly operationalize every modality of the TRIPP initiative.
