On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Moldova on the anniversary of their independence.
The United States remains proud of its growing partnership with Moldova. Over the past year, the two nations have deepened cooperation across a range of shared priorities, expanding economic ties, strengthening border security, and promoting regional stability.
As Moldova marks 35 years of freedom, the United States reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Moldovan people’s sovereignty and independence. On this occasion, I extend my warmest wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and progress to all Moldovans.
