The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released its advance estimate of second‑quarter GDP on Thursday, indicating an annualized growth rate of 1.5% for April through June. This falls short of the 2.1% increase projected by economists surveyed by LSEG.
A revised estimate for second‑quarter GDP is slated for release in late August, with the final revision scheduled for the end of September.
