Yevheniy Balitsky, the Kremlin‑appointed governor of the region, said four children were among the 11 killed in the resort attack, with another 16 people injured.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy region, said on Saturday that a Russian drone strike ignited a fire at a civilian facility, killing three drivers from the private Ukrainian courier company Nova Poshta.
Russia’s Defense Ministry stated it had targeted a Ukrainian drone storage and launch site in the Sumy area.
