The United Nations World Food Programme has been forced to reduce its food assistance in the occupied West Bank by half as it grapples with a severe shortfall in funding. The agency has additionally cautioned that further reductions could be implemented in Gaza, where it currently provides support to approximately 1.5 million people, should it fail to secure urgent new financial contributions.
