WWE Evolve’s future is currently under scrutiny following a recent scheduling adjustment for WWE Main Event.
Evolve has been airing on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi, but WWE recently announced that Main Event episodes will now stream at the same time on the Rumble platform, creating a direct head-to-head competition.
According to reports, enough episodes of Evolve have already been taped to carry the show through early February. Bryan Alvarez highlighted the timing of this schedule conflict, noting that numerous Independent Development (ID) contracts are also set to expire next month, raising significant questions about the long-term outlook of the promotion.
Looking ahead, next Wednesday’s lineup features Elijah Holyfield facing Braxton Cole, alongside It’s Gal taking on Harley Riggins. The winners of these matches will earn a championship opportunity against Evolve Champion Harlem Lewis. Notably, Cole was among the roster cuts announced by WWE on September 4.
