Chicago hyperpop artist Underscores has unveiled two fresh tracks: the glitch‑filled single “Unlimited Love” and a Frost Children remix of her song “The Peace.” The releases mark her first new material since the 2021 album “U.”
The “Unlimited Love” single is paired with a B‑side remix from Frost Children, while its cover art hints at a possible forthcoming project titled “After‑U.”
In an Instagram Stories post she celebrated the collaboration, writing: “Thank U Frost Children I luv luv luv this remix so much.”

In a recent interview with NME, Underscores discussed how her relationship with music has evolved since her debut “Fishmonger.” “I do think my relationship with making music has changed after being able to do it for a living,” she explained. “There’s 10 other jobs that you have to do along with your dream job – which I’m perfectly fine with, but it does sometimes suck the fun out of it a little.”
“With each album, I’m trying to restore my relationship with making music,” she added. “And as frustrating as it can be to make music by yourself, that frustration puts something really interesting in the work.”
Her third album, “U,” received a five‑star review from the publication. “More Black Mirror than Twin Peaks, ‘U’ is an intimate hyperpop record portraying snowballing isolation, a digital‑age pop star’s yearning under the limelight of the techno‑infused Anthropocene,” the review noted.
