The entire Performance Center appeared stunned by Choo’s release.
Fightful Select reports that Choo was initially expected to receive a main roster opportunity. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently made the most of the various gimmicks WWE presented to her.
Observers believe Choo may transition to a behind‑the‑scenes role—such as coach or producer—once her wrestling career ends. TNA is considered a possible next destination, and several individuals in AEW have long admired her work.
Karen Yu, better known as Wendy Choo, is 34 and has been with WWE since February 2019. Prior to her WWE signing, she made a name for herself on the independent circuit and ultimately won the EVOLVE Women’s Championship.
During her WWE tenure, Choo first portrayed Mei Ying as a member of the Tian Sha faction, then later transitioned to the Wendy Choo character.
