Suspected cartel leader Daniel Kinahan has appeared before a special non-jury court in Dublin after an extradition treaty between Ireland and the UAE ended his decade-long exile in Dubai.
Kinahan, aged 49, has been charged with directing the activities of a criminal organization between 18 October 2015 and 6 April 2017. He has previously denied all charges against him.
