US Senior Advisor Proposes Unified Government Framework for Libya, FT Reports
Washington’s senior adviser for Arab and African affairs, Massad Boulos, is working to mediate a power‑sharing agreement between the rival administrations in eastern and western Libya, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
In an interview with the FT, Boulos said, “Our plan is to have one unified government and to consolidate all the institutions,” adding that the United States would encourage American oil companies to invest in Libya.
