Operational Updates
The USS Abraham Lincoln, with approximately 5,000 personnel aboard, commenced its return journey to the United States on Thursday, as reported by the Times, following relief by another carrier strike group.
Earlier that day, U.S. Central Command released imagery showing the USS George Washington—a carrier formerly stationed in the Asia-Pacific region—operating in the Arabian Sea. This deployment occurred one week after the Wall Street Journal indicated that the George Washington would assume the Abraham Lincoln’s responsibilities in support of regional operations.
