NEW DELHI: Young cricket prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi recently shared a moment of immense family pride after his younger brother, Ashirvad Sooryavanshi, delivered another standout batting performance that has quickly captured the attention of social media.
Currently traveling with the Indian squad for the upcoming series against Ireland, Vaibhav took to Instagram to applaud Ashirvad’s latest century. The post rapidly went viral, with cricket enthusiasts praising the remarkable talent emerging from the Sooryavanshi household.
The scorecard shared by Vaibhav highlighted a dominant display of power-hitting, with Ashirvad smashing 168 runs off just 119 balls, including 19 boundaries and six sixes. This performance further cements his reputation as one of the most exciting young prospects in Bihar’s cricket scene.
This latest achievement follows closely on the heels of a previous headline-making performance, where the 10-year-old scored a century in a local practice match in Samastipur. Representing the Cricket Academy Tajpur, Ashirvad scored 103 runs from 87 deliveries, striking 20 fours and one six with a strike rate exceeding 118 before being dismissed by Prashant Raj.
The family is thrilled with the youngster’s progress. His father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, expressed his gratitude to supporters following Ashirvad’s maiden century and shared his ambition to guide his son toward becoming a top-tier cricketer, mirroring the trajectory of his elder brother, Vaibhav.
Vaibhav is the middle of three brothers, with Ujjwal being the eldest and Ashirvad the youngest. Like Vaibhav, Ashirvad is recognized for his aggressive batting style and is already receiving structured professional training.
As Vaibhav continues his ascent at the national level, Ashirvad’s consecutive big scores suggest a promising future. With the public support of his elder brother, the youngster’s journey is already gaining significant traction far beyond local cricket circles.
