In the other quarter-final, Price overcame a late scare to defeat Ross Smith 16-12, averaging 102.78 and hitting 10 maximums. After trailing 12-8, Price rallied to win four straight legs, securing his first semi-final appearance at the event since 2022.
The semi-finals will see Van Veen face Price, while defending champion Luke Littler takes on Dirk van Duijvenbode, who reached the last four for the first time at this event.
