A veteran wide receiver, available in free agency for several months, has recently joined a new team.
According to Jordan Schultz, Keenan Allen has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year contract valued up to $8.32 million.
A 2013 third-round selection, Allen spent 11 seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, a single year with the Chicago Bears, and returned to the Chargers in 2025. He has compiled 1,055 career receptions for 12,051 yards and 70 touchdowns over his professional tenure.
Allen concluded his rookie campaign as the runner-up for Offensive Rookie of the Year and has earned six Pro Bowl selections, including a recent appearance in 2023.
Allen joins a depth chart featuring Alec Pierce (currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list with an ankle injury), Josh Downs, Ashton Dulin, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Anthony Gould, and Laquon Treadwell.
His career in San Diego overlapped with Colts head coach Shane Steichen, who held various positions with the Chargers from 2014 through 2020.
