Accomplished wrestling journalist and media strategist Jake has officially rejoined PROGRESS Wrestling in a full-time capacity, marking a significant homecoming for the UK-based promotion. The appointment brings a wealth of experience to the organization, drawing on a career spanning more than a decade across combat sports, gaming, and professional wrestling coverage.
Currently serving as Head of Audience at F4WOnline, Jake previously held the position of Editor-in-Chief at NationalWorld, where he oversaw coverage spanning combat sports, gaming, and football. His extensive portfolio includes foundational roles at SEScoops, 24Wrestling—which he helped build and successfully sell in 2019—and FightFans, a combat sports outlet he guided to millions of pageviews within its first two years. During his tenure at GiveMeSport, he spearheaded UFC and MMA SEO strategy, transforming a stagnant vertical into a global traffic driver.
Beyond digital publishing, Jake has cultivated direct relationships with major promotions including the Professional Fighters League, ONE Championship, and Cage Warriors, producing long-form video and written features to promote high-profile events. His history with PROGRESS Wrestling runs deep; he previously served as PR Head and Head of Media, managing the company’s social channels and public-facing communications. This latest move signals a strategic investment in media operations as PROGRESS continues to expand its footprint in the British wrestling landscape.
