During a plenary session on Saturday, opposition MP Time Kadrijaj launched a physical protest by throwing eggs at Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
Representing the Alliance party, the MP threw at least four eggs toward Kurti before lawmakers and police officers were able to intervene and restore order.
The disruption occurred following Kurti’s announcement to Parliament that additional time is required to consult with various political parties before proposing a candidate for the position of Speaker, following the recent June snap elections.
