The affected products include 14-ounce kits with UPC 194346474004 and a use-by date of August 22, 2026, distributed between June 30 and July 7 to stores in 29 states.
Testing by Kettle Cuisine yielded a presumptive positive result for Listeria monocytogenes, prompting the recall. The company is collaborating with the FDA to investigate further. No illnesses linked to the product have been reported yet.
The recalled soup may cause serious infections, particularly in vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, or immunocompromised individuals.
