The Washington Commanders faced a significant absence in their recent game against the 49ers, as star wide receiver Stefon Diggs was not available for the matchup, and the team is deliberating his status for Monday’s contest.

Diggs, who tallied 18 receptions in the first four games of the season, has been managing a hamstring injury. His availability remains uncertain, as he practiced in a limited capacity over the past two days and is currently listed as questionable.

Alongside Diggs, the Commanders have also designated eight additional players as questionable for Week 6. These include cornerback Trey Amos (ankle), linebacker Jordan Magee (hamstring), and running back Jeremy McNichols (quadriceps). All three would need to be cleared to participate. The remaining questionable players are safety Percy Butler (hamstring), safety Nick Cross (illness), defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw (ankle and knee), safety Tyler Owens (hamstring), and offensive lineman Lucas Patrick (illness).

Head Coach Dan Quinn confirmed on Saturday that four players have been ruled out for the upcoming game: running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin), linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste (pectoral), quarterback Marcus Mariota (knee), and defensive end Charles Omenihu (groin and ankle).
